Dark Horse Deluxe Game of Thrones Season 2 Coaster Set

These are very vibrant looking coasters. Keep in mind these are not ceramic or stone of any kind. They are made of cardboard and have a cork bottom. Before using them I sprayed them with a fast-drying Polyurethane clear gloss, to protect the artwork of the sigil's. I sprayed three separate layers of protective coating (Allow dry time of 2 hrs. between layers/coating) on the front and back, to make they last longer.

I think they do look nice. I think the seller should list the materials they are made out of however. I don't intend to use these as actual coasters to make sure they won't get damaged so I can't write anything about their durability. I think they are a little pricey for cardboard and cork coasters but everything GoT is pricey. (I bought these in order to get some free shipping on other purchases and ended up benefiting from buying these, but I would probably never have spent the money if not for that.)

For a die hard song of ice and fire fan like myself, these coasters really hit the spot. Buy a Feast of Ice and Fire cookbook to make your viewing party complete. Whenever I have my game of throne viewing parties, everyone can grab the coaster of their favorite house while we sip our Take the Black Stout. Except for me that is. Please give me a Dorn coaster ASAP!!!

They have great designs from the houses on game of thrones. The quality is okay basic cardboard with cork board on the bottom. I wish it came with a better holder than the box. Over a cheaply made product, but it's cool for game of thrones fans.

I bought both sets (Season 1 and Season 2) for my "Kitchen of Ice and Fire" and I really like them. I've had them for a couple of months now and they've held up - granted I absolutely hate condensation so I tend to wipe off my glasses constantly so the coasters are not getting overly wet. I think I paid a little under $9 so I'm not expecting them to last forever, but they're serving their purpose of being mostly decorative additions to my kitchen and living room. The colors are bright and the designs are very good.

I was going to return these but decided against it because returns are a huge pain! I decided I would put them on display instead of use as actual coasters. Then I opened the boxes they come in and the one with a bird on it looks like it has a huge line on it. I'm definitely disappointed and most likely wont buy from dark horse again!

These are great the coloring on them is perfect the details on the sigils is spot on, they are thick with the bottom cork and the top side is very easy to clean. Excellent for a TV room good conversation started if you know anyone under a rock that has not watched or read these amazing stories.

Only got 3 of the 4 coasters included in my set of 4. The "We Do Not Sow" coaster was not in the package.

Bought these from Roy's online. Very good quality, got them to go with the first set of coasters, came in nice little gift box, really happy with them.
