Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for iPad Air, Space Grey

I got this keyboard about three weeks ago, and it has changed the way I use my iPad Air. I got the white color to match my white iPad, but the backing is silver chrome color, so it doesn't scratch like my white MacBook did--and it looks sleeker than I thought it would.When I want to use it, I place the iPad in the magnetic slot. At first, sometimes I'd put it in upside-down, so the home button on the iPad was to the left. With this setup, the iPad falls out. So this might be where some have had trouble with stability. But if the iPad is facing in the right direction, or standing with the button on the bottom, it's quite stable. When I'm done using it, it's easy to slip it into the magnetic holder on the back, so the thing folds up like a tiny laptop.It's incredibly light. I got this keyboard because carrying around my MacBook was killing my back, and this solves that problem. And typing on this gadget is extremely easy. I touch type, and after only a few minutes I wasn't making any mistakes without even looking at the keyboard. I never thought such a small keyboard could provide this level of typing ease. I was also under the impression that I'd have to reconnect the keyboard via blue tooth every time I restarted the keyboard. But this isn't the case. As long as I have blue tooth open on the iPad, I just switch on the keyboard and it connects automatically. You can see that it is connected with a blue light goes off.Just having the keyboard has also opened up unexpected options for me in terms of acquiring very useful apps that involve a lot of typing. For instance, having Evernote and Trello, which are great for project management, didn't make sense on my iPad before because typing was so difficult on the screen. Now I can really organize everything, as well as really take notes, on my iPad. At first, I was a bit overwhelmed with all the reviews for iPad keyboards I saw online. And I was ready to be disappointed, given that nothing seemed like a stand-out product. But in the end, I truly think I made the right choice by going with this one.

I noticed that this item had mixed reviews. I can't comment on the previous logitech cover for the ipad 4, but this cover is well worth the price. It is as thin as the iPad air itself and fits like a glove when snapped on as the cover.For the real function of typing, the keyboard really transforms the iPad into something more than just a tablet. With a keyboard you are able to actually get work done on Google Drive or Pages and it makes other applications work very well. (Currently using it to type this).Some characteristics / things i didnt expect- This really is a full functionality keyboard, it compares well to the apple bluetooth desktop keyboard.- There is tab functionality.- there are command functions- The keys are a little bit smaller and closer together than i thought they'd be, but one will get used to it and stop making mistakes in only a few days.- With regards to the magnets, i personally haven't noticed any issues. When in cover mode it snaps on with ease and stays on.- When snapped in landscape mode the Air fits perfectly and doesn't move around or fall over when touching the screen. This is true whether at a table or on your lap.- when snapped in portrait mode it is a little bit different. I could see if someone wanted to tip it over they could on purpose (maybe), but I still think you'd have to be trying to accomplish this objective. I don't think some reviewers are understanding it in full scope that for a keyboard of this size and lightness, having a fullsize 10inch tablet is going to have some center of gravity issues. you do have to center the tablet properly for it to work 100% thought.- battery life hasn't been an issue, ive only charghed it once. Super easy to link to the iPad or any other bluetooth device. Even works on a friend android phone.- If anything, I don't think some of the negative reviewers are keeping they're expectations in line. This is a $100 cosmetically apealing cover / keybaord that accomplishes that objective very well. If you want a bullet proof keyboard buy a macbook.

Works like a charm! Decided to give this a try instead of taking a laptop on a trip. Found typing emails a breeze. Connectivity is great and battery life excellent.

Amazing fit for the iPAd air, feels like an original accessory as colour matches too. very silent keyboard with nice resistance and spring back.
