360 degree Swiveling Pet Tie-Out, Made in the USA

I thought the price, nearly $50, was quite a bit for it and when I received it and looked at it I was sure that I had paid too much. Then I used it. WOW! It is small and stakes down easily with the spiral stakes. It mounts nearly flush with the ground and it is impossible to tangle a pet's line upon. Once installed, it is impossible for any animal short of an elephant to pull out. Yet, removal of the base is extremely easy with a simply pry by a claw hammer or similar tool. Once pried from the ground a half-inch or so, the stakes screw right out simply by using your fingers. The tie-out is made of that super-strength plastic material, yet I wonder if the stakes will hold up for years and years of pounding and removal; I'm thinking yes. Very nice way to secure the dog. The swivel works really smoothly. My do is a very hyper medium size male who is know for snapping leashes off his neck when he is chained and sees something he wants to chase. This device hasn't let me down yet, but also hasn't been put to a real test yet either. The spikes go in easy and come out of the ground just as easy too. Follow the directions it comes with and you'll be happier for it. One spike broke at the tip already but that's because the earth where I live is riddled with rocks. Regardless, the broken spike still works and goes into the ground fine. My only disappointment about the product is that it is made up entirely of plastic. Not sure how long it can last, but it sure does work great for now. I'm glad I bought it.

I'm really happy with this! I got it for when we camp in areas with other people and can't let the dogs run loose. It was really easy to set up and very secure. The dogs did pull it up once after it rained and we had all three dogs (90 lbs + 65 lbs + 50 lbs) on it at the same time, haha. I don't think it's made for that and even if it was I wouldn't recommend doing that, so I'm still giving this 5 stars.It was quick enough to pull it up with the back side of a hammer and move it around when needed. Still, I think I'll buy another one or two before the next time I go camping so I won't have to move it around.One concern I had before I bought it was if it would be durable since it's plastic. But after using it I'm satisfied that it won't break anytime soon.

Once I finally got the pieces out of the packaging- after fighting with it for a good 30 minutes- terrible design for packaging- the device has worked great with keeping our two dogs tied up outside with no tangling or getting caught up on each other. However , it’s only been outside for 4 weeks and I can already see some rust forming around the metal pieces.I’d buy it again for the how it’s worked out for us and just get a saw to get the packaging open. but I hope the rust doesn’t effect it, time will tell

As a pet owner i like taking the dogs anywhere I go. I purchased a tie out cable and the swivel 360 separately to be able to do just that. I love that I can take my dog where I go, tie him out and he can run all around while ensuring he is within good range of me. This allows my dog to be able to run around and interact with anyone around him in all areas.The tie out can withstand sudden hard yanks on it too. There was an instance where my dog was trying to run off to escape sounds he did not like. Even while scared the tie out stayed in place.

I have only had this for 5 days and am seriously impressed, I was not expecting the results that I am getting. I have a 5 month old Australian Shepherd Husky mix and a 10 weel old Corgi and this is amazing compared to the normal metal stake I was using, I wouldn't even try 2 seperate cords on it. Now is this 100% never ever get the cords tangled up with 2 pups, no, but mostly because it is due to them rolling around on the ground together playing that the cords start to tangle. But really once they are off and inside even what little was tangled is easy to pull apart no problem at all due to the rotating part. I love this and am so happy I did spent the money. It has rained sooooo much here since I got it, and the ground was just saturated when I put it into the ground and have only actually used 4 or the 6 steaks and it hasn't budged at all. This is definitely something I will travel with also. Money well spent especially with 2 dogs!

I wanted something simple, safe, and secure that could be used at our local park and while car camping. Sometimes you don't want to be passing a leash back and forth all weekend, but you want your pup to be able to enjoy being outdoors with you. For our needs, this has been perfect. We have a 25 lbs. corgi and usually attach a 10' or 15' tether to her harness when needed. This gives her some room to explore while keeping her out of trouble. She's not the type to pull aggressively and there's only so much momentum you can gain with 10-15' of line to work with. I have not had an issue with the included plastic stakes yet, and use a hammer to strike them in and remove them. Anyone who has ever used plastic camping stakes before knows that you are always one stubborn rock or root away from a bent, cracked, or shattered stake. Thankfully I have accumulated a variety of metal stakes from past tents and have them available should these eventually fail me. Given the size and relative strength of our dog, we have found that using all 6 stakes is rarely necessary. 4 stakes in dry earth has sufficed. The full impact of darting to greet a passing pup has loosened it slightly, but it has not come close to ever coming out of the ground. Not easy to pry up when they are hammered down all the way. Have to carefully use the claw of the hammer to work up the base first, then the head of the stakes. Swivel is smooth, consistent and helps limit tangling. Very happy we opted to pick this up!
