Save Your Money
What a very disappointing product! The so called 'butter cream' is crumbly and dry. I expect butter cream to be creamy and have a lucious buttery flavor. This is pure powdered sugar. The chocolate is not too bad, but it arrived looking as though it had been stuck in a cupboard in 2017 waiting for Easter this year. It was white streaked and the decoration was broken in pieces in the box. I can't believe I paid so much for such a crappy product.

I was so excited to receive this as we had one in Amish Lancaster County years ago...OMG...my husband got it for me for Easter...I just opened it...and cut a slice...it is completely dehydrated and dry,..fell apart and you could not ever eat this so hard...so awful..must be years old ....I used to have the Fanny farmer ones years ago that stayed good for weeks...and creamy...what a total disappointment...I went online to ask for a refund and it says "not eligible even though within 30 days...a long time Amazon supporter I am totally upset..

Filling was disappointing
The item was delivered quickly and on time. The dark chocolate covering was tasty and had a nice appearance. The butter cream filling was neither buttery tasting nor creamy. I tried it both refrigerated and at room temperature but the texture wasn’t smooth or creamy textured as I expected although it was dense enough and easy to cut and bite into. The biggest disappointment was the total absence of anything butter tasting, it was more of a heavy, sugary sweet taste without any identifiable flavor.

Oh My!
Zithers are the very best choc eggs, no matter what is your favorite, they melt in your mouth.We have been buying them for years and they remain in demand.

Product was old and falling apart in the box
This product was clearly old as it was dried out and powdery. One of the eggs had all of the chocolate broken off. These should not be sold to the public in my opinion.

Not as good as I had hoped.
It arrived fresh and on time. The chocolate was very good. The buttercream tasted more sugary than like the butter cream eggs that I remember from my childhood. It didn't taste bad but it wasn't what I was hoping for.
