OrthofeetMen's Orthopedic Leather Hunter Boots

I have been wearing these boots for about a year now and I love them. They are super comfortable all around my feet. The insoles are durable and comfortable without putting any strain on any specific areas of my feet. The stitching so far is standing up to heavy use. They are not super water resistant though, water will soak through, and will pour in if you step into any water that would be up to the laces. That is understandable though.The tread is getting worn out a little quick for my liking but unlike many other shoes I do not feel an imminent risk of wearing a hole right through the sole (Hah, that rhymes!).

Last summer I bought a pair of Altra Lone Peak boots and they fit perfectly until winter came along. They didn't fit with medium thickness wool socks. My feet couldn't move. I switched back to my almost totally worn out New Balance MW1400 boots. I planned on buying a new pair, but I think they are discontinued. I couldn't find them in a men's 9 2E. So the search started. I tried mens Nortiv 8 Armadillo, and Columbia Newton Ridge Plus. All were too tight in one way or another. I also tried Orthofeet Dakota boots, but I accidentally ordered the wrong size. I have no doubt they would have fit well if I got the right size!Last resort I purchased these boots. They fit great and they bend right out of the box. Definitely keepers. They are a bit large. I could have ordered a half size smaller, but when winter rolls around, my wool socks (I have them from medium to really heavy) fit comfortably (I can wiggle my toes!)Fwiw, I live in high desert. Spiky plants, poisonous critters, and Mesquite spikes that can go through tires. I wear boots year round.

I like that they're easy to get on and off and they're great in the backyard working in the garden but the inserts that they came with were useless. Expected a lot more arch support. Also, shoes are a bit too pricy.

If I could give these shoes ten stars I would! Incredibly comfortable, stylish and best of all, exceeded my expectations as far as lower back pain relief. On my feet all day for work, thought pain was just something I had to live with, not so with Ortho-Feet shoes. I'm comfortable at work, and now able to go for walks at the end of the day, pain free! Absolutely amazing to me. Thank you!

These boots were purchased in February for their promises of support & pain-free benefits, but they can NO LONGER BE WORN. They're the worst pair of boots that I have ever worn in such a short time.Unlike their promises, these boots did NOT provide health benefits for my feet or my back. As advertised, the boots did NOT provide pain-free support without irritation, alleviating pressure, or aligning. The insoles AND the stitching came apart leading to a loose fit that allowed too much freedom of movement in the shoe. While I chose NOT to wear them, these are THE REASONS WHY I can no longer wear them. I would never recommend these boots, nor will I ever make another purchase.

Good comfortable shoes

These are very comfortable shoes and fit well. I use them for working around the yard and house. There are two issues I have with these shoes. Several of the metal loops that hold the shoe strings broke after about a year. They literally snapped in half. I was able to find replacements and replaced them myself. 2nd my feet sweat terribly especially in warm weather.

Great light duty work shoe. Very comfortable. Big toe box. I’m going to select another style from them. Good quality.
