Oatey 4 in. PVC closet flange replacement

I own a bar in a building that is pretty old and the flange in the men’s room had completely rusted away. I bought your 4 inch flange and I gotta say it absolutely worked perfectly. I would recommend it to anybody that is having flange issues. thanks for making my job easier

As anyone who has ever done plumbing can attest to, keeping an open hole into the cities sewage plant isn’t ideal. This product came overnight on a Saturday to Sunday, and it came in time for me to work on it. I cannot say enough how awesome that is. Well done! Excellent product and very quick delivery.

I had to drill the lead out of the old flange, pulled it off and slipped the new one inside the 4" cast iron black pipe, it fit perfect, took about 10 turns on the screws and everything was tight. Very happy and would buy again. Plastic feels pretty sturdy and should hold up if not over tightened for the pipe seal or the toilet mounting bolts

I installed this product myself and it was super easy.

I am currently remodeling my bathroom and had to remove the toilet for the new tile installation. Once the toilet was removed it was revealed to have a old, rusted, and almost broken cast iron flange. It was ready to be replaced. I did my research online and decided to go with this simple replacement rather than call a plumber to install a new cast iron flange which I would assume would cost hundreds of dollars. Once I was able to chisel and hammer out the old cast iron flange, I took a wire brush and cleaned the inside pipe of any rust and debris from it(wear a mask for this part). Once the pipe was cleaned up, this flange slid right into place, no problem. I tightened up the screws that held it place very securely, added my extra large wax ring and installed the toilet with no problem. I also caulked around the base of the toilet for added protection against leaks and any movement of the toilet.

I think this is a great idea, and it would have saved me a lot of time if it was compatible with my setup. We have a concrete slab foundation with ceramic tile floors in the bathrooms. I was dreading having to drill the concrete and use inserts for screws to replace the old style brass flange. The cast iron pipe does not come all the way up to the floor level, so the transition is concrete with a lead liner. As a result, the hole is not as round or straight as a pipe would be. The replacement flange would not go into my pipe far enough to sit flush with the floor. Also, the top of the flange is about a half inch thick, so it would have been too tall for my set up also, and the toilet would have rocked. Sent these back and got a prompt refund, so we appreciate the easy return policy. Ended up getting a "Superior Tool 21015 SuperRing Closet Ring Replacement-Closet Flange Fitted for 1/4 Inch and 5/8 Inch Closet Bolts" also available from Amazon. I had to get a concrete drill bit which was getting dull after nine holes (for two flanges) and used Tapcon concrete screws to anchor it. Also used a "Fluidmaster 7530P8 Better Than Wax,Wax-Free Toilet Bowl Gasket". Both toilets are solid and leak free.

I could not find this particular model in big box stores so after ordering it from Amazon, I realized that it is truly a time saver. It is easy to install. Check out a couple of youtube videos and you will get what I mean.

Great product! Why would they not carry these in retail stores?! Perfect fit and finish. Sits fairly high up out of the floor compared to other flanges but that has to do more with your down pipe.

Used this to replace toilet in an older home with cast iron flange and stack. Cut off the old flange and this slid in perfect. No leaks.
