I use it all the time. Golden makes great products.

I’m finding it very difficult to get smaller cracking which is supposed to be controlled by the overall thickness of application. Large cracks no problem. But they tend to appear less “controlled” for lack of a better term so would prefer smaller cracking. Haven’t figured it out yet though

I am a hard-core Liquitex crackle paste fan. But I tried Golden and I am so disappointed. I lightly painted the crackle and it broke off everywhere. My painting has holes in it.

Smells AWFUL, you will cough, wear a mask and slam this stuff on thick or it won't work. It's a lot of work actually, but once done and done right it's very pretty and yes, it does crackle but be patient.

Need I say more? Need I say less? The headline says it all, truly. If there's anything an artist should experiment with in the studio (no limits in real life, as I call for true independence), this paste lets you rethink how paint can act and how you can force paint to act with the effects conservators hate to think about.
