Hole in fitting was to small for stick bolt
It worked perfectly the only problem I had was the stock (OEM) bolt that holds the fitting on the motor would not work because the hole in the fitting was to small

98 mercury 40 horse power outboard
This is almost the correct fit. It will do once you put the screw in from underneath to bolt it bolted down. just doesn’t have the little stopper block on the bottom but when you screw in like I said it works no more leaks I gave it an 8 out of 10.
