I ordered two bras. Each had a chemical odor that about knocked me out. I've tried everything, washed and rewashed them. I've used white vinegar and baking soda sometimes soaking them overnight. I can still smell them from six feet away. I've given up on the idea that I'll ever be able to wear them. Out they go.I've read the odor comes from formaldehyde which can be applied either during cultivation or manufacture. Formaldehyde. How lovely. Consumers really should be forewarned when clothes they're ordering have been so treated. I will never mail order another Playtex product. And the next time I receive a garment of any kind that has even a whiff of chemical odor, back it goes immediately.

It took me a while to get used to the fit of a Playtex bra. I am a between cup size, so opted a size down. I was looking for a more traditional (vintage) silhouette: I was done with softballs and underwires. Yes, this is grandma's bra and if you are like me you might need to experiment with sizes and wear it in when you get it. The only downside for me is that the comfort straps tend to fit tight, your results may vary.

I’ve worn this same 18 Hour bra for years and years - and it wears well - is comfortable - and I simply have never found a better fit!!I wouldn’t change for any reason. Getting it through Amazon was a pleasure. The store displays are always difficult to find two at a time, going through four drawers and often didn’t find them. This was so easy two clicks and they were on three way!!!

This is a really good bra, lots of support which is really important for someone who is as top heavy as I am. I normally buy a 44DDD however these cups are a little looser than I like them so my next purchase will be a 44DD but there definitely will be another purchase :)

I originally ordered two of these bras to be sure they were the bras I've worn for years. When I received them, I found the cups were way, way oversized. I returned them and after a while (since I was desperate to find a front-adjustable bra, I ordered four more in a one size smaller cup, thinking that maybe the smaller cup would fit. These fit better, but I found that these bras have to be fastened on the tightest loops, for proper fit. So this means that there will be less time to wear these for a good fit. Usually with new bras, you fasten them with the loosest fitting and with time, tighten them to the middle loops and then finally to the tightest loops. Also, the straps on these bras are beginning to unravel. I don't know what has happened to these Playtex bras or why they are being made so incorrectly or so poorly, but they are a disaster. I will obviously not buy these bras again, and would advise people to steer clear of them if they want a good quality product.

I wore Bali full figure bras most of my life, but as I aged and lost a lot of weight, I need to find something different. I need something that will comfortably hold large boobs on a skinny body. This bra isn't it, since it inserts my saggy boobs into cups that make them look like two cone hats or rockets that are about to take off at a 45 degree angle. If you've seen a 1950's old movie of astronaut wives with perky breasts under the A line dresses with the tight fitting bodice of the time, you'll understand what I mean. ATTENTION!!!!UPDATE: I realize that the above review is subjective to my personal situation. So, in all fairness, other than the rocket effect, the bra is well constructed for the following reasons:Although I see the rocket effect as a negative, it's interesting that the cup is made of a thin gauze type fabric that is meshed onto an outer flowery lace pattern. The two thin layers, combined with the unique cut, give those cups the ability to make even saggy breasts appear firm (but too high for my taste). The curved band under the cups have a width that ranges from 1 1/8 inch to almost 2 inches, but its design enhances the support. That band and the adjoining back band are a combination elastic/lace material. The back band is attached to the C-curved elastic shoulder straps and the three hook and eye closure section. The fact that the shoulder straps join the hook and eye closure by curving into it causes the straps to rest too far out on the shoulders, which I don't like, but overall the bra offers good support and (unlike some bras that have rear strap adjustment) these straps adjust in the front.

The fit was good and as expected. I don't like underwire bras, and this is a perfect solution for me. The elastic in all bras stretches and wears out over time, diminishing support and affecting proper fit. However, I have purchased this product before, and they have lasted considerably longer than other brands I have tried. For a non-underwire bra, they give excellent support, The price is also extremely reasonable. I am quite happy with this product, and will definitely purchase it again in the future.

I grew up wearing this style of bra, and for some reason this one has become harder to find in the stores.This is absolutely the best bra for support and comfort, especially if you are large up top.This bra comfortably supports your breasts. Providing a nice lift that is flattering under any clothing. No more saggy or droopy bosom.Is truly the only bra I have found, in all my years of wearing bras, that provides me with all day comfort and support.Sadly these don’t hold up long term as well as they used to. Must be making them cheaper.I suggest ordering a couple and rotating them. Hand wash in cold water and line dry to make the bra hold up longer.

I wanted something a little more vintagey after binge watching Mad Men and thought I’d take a chance on this slightly ‘pointy’ bra. And oh my god am I so glad I did... THIS IS THE BEST BRA I’VE EVER HAD! The lift is incredible and without the discomfort of a normal padded push up! How did they do it while still being wire-free?? Magic?? I am simply blown away! Never in my life did I think a “granny bra” would make me look and feel so amazing and confident! As someone in her early twenties I’m convinced I’ve found the secret to having the best boobs... no better than that, the secret to eternal youth! I can’t believe no one else my age knows about this! We’re all wearing the most uncomfortable and expensive lingerie that doesn’t even make us look half as good! With this affordable playtex bra they look so perky and eye-catching I feel like it looks like I just had them done! (And I’ve certainly gotten the stares of admiration to prove it... Watch out Joan, there’s a new vixen in town!)Please be advised, I did choose to size down one cup according to other reviews (so while I’m normally a 34DD I went for a 34D) and this fit me PERFECTLY! In fact it was a better fit than any other bra I’ve ever had! (So I would suggest ordering a smaller cup than your usual.) I’ve immediately gone and purchased 2 more of these bras now that I’ve realizing I found my holy grail so I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to look perky and lifted!

I have always been skeptical buying bras online, so this time I thought I should try it out.To my suprise I was very impressed. It fitted perfectly and the material and quality was really good. I would recommend this to those that still have doubts of buying without trying.

I liked the material of the bra but the cups ended up being way too big for me. It was disappointing since now I can't wear it. I also bought the bra size that I normally wear.
