I thought it was metal (must have been sleepy when I ordered it), but it is plastic. It is, however, very pretty. The colors are wonderful and I am very happy with it. Very artistic, and I don't think it looks cheap.If I were putting it in a place it got rough treatment, I would be worried, but I'm not.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my sister and she loved it.It is large and I thought it would be too large for where she wanted to put it, she said it fits perfect.Very bright colors and lightweight so it will not pull out and fall from where its hung.

This is a very high quality product, much nicer than I expected. It looks great on my balcony wall.

Realistic in every respect - front and back. My only (tiny) complaint might be that it's a little shiny (varnish-wise). I've never seen a real mounted crab before, so maybe that's how they look. It's a beautifully crafted piece though; my wife adores it!!
