Hooks are not sturdy. One broke the 3rd day. Use a back up hook.

It's a perfect lamp and it seems to be sturdy but thank goodness he's not a rambunctious Pitbull because I don't think it would actually hold him if he was and he weighs about 80 lb

This lead worked really well for my 55+ lb dog. The lead was purchased in late 2020 and I left it out in snow, rain and any weather we received. It is just now wearing down to where it may need to be replaced. It was definitely worth the money that I put into the cable. It allowed for peace of mind for me so that I knew my dog couldn't get into the nearby road. I highly suggest this cable lead!!

I have had other cables that were really thin and they got tied in knots as the doggies run around, and even kinked so badly that when one cable crosses another, it is bound to get stuck together. Then the dogs cant run around because they are stuck together or stuck in a bush.I LIKE this cable because it is thick enough that it doesn't get tangled in bushes and with my other dog's tie out cable. I do leave these outside all the time and I can tell that latch part is starting to rust, which means that it will not likely open and close very easily in the next few months. I'd say if you used this cable everyday like I do, it would last you 8-12 months. You could probably get more life out of it if you didn't leave them out in the weather everyday, and treated them with rust spray, but for $10 I'll take a new one once a year.

Exactly what I needed for my dog-ties. They seem to be the correct size, the quality is good, and the hooks are great and rounded so they don’t hurt when you attach a dog to them! I personally add a second hook for security purposes, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the attached hooks. Another huge bonus is that the price is very affordable compared to some others that you will see online and in the store. Will definitely be buying these again!
