Sun Essential Oils 4oz - Tea Tree Essential Oil - 4 Fluid Ounces

Meets my needs and have found different uses for it.

I had plantar warts on the bottom of my foot for five years. The first one showed up my freshman year of college when I was living in the dorms and they spread until I had 13 or 14. I had done a lot of freezing treatments both at home and at the doctor and they were painful and time consuming and never made a difference. I knew that tea tree oil was anti-fungal but I read a study that found it had some anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties as well so I decided to try it. At first I bought a foot scrub with charcoal, baking powder and tea tree oil and I noticed a difference after a couple months because it not only cleaned my feet but stopped them from sweating as much in the days after use, which is what gave the warts a nice environment to grow in. I decided to go at the problem head on so I did some research on high quality tea tree oils and found this one. I soaked cotton pads in the oil and taped them to my feet overnight. I could not believe the warts were gone within a couple weeks. I had just resigned myself to having them the rest of my life. I still have plenty of oil left so I'm using it on some fungus I get in my toenails and it seems to be doing a great job there too. I personally like the smell but for some it may be a bit strong. I won't say that tea tree oil is a magic remedy to any ailment. There isn't any evidence to support that tea tree oil will reduce pain and inflammation under the skin because our skin's job is to keep oils and other substances out of our body. I won't suggest this as a replacement for medical care for severe cases, but if you're looking for an inexpensive first step on your way to treating any viral, bacterial or fungal infections on your skin, this is a good option before moving on to more severe treatment like medication or surgery.

I got this almost 5 months ago because the price was really great, and I am so glad I did! I use this mixed with rubbing alcohol for aftershave, and mixed with my shampoo to aid with dandruff control (it seems to work, and smells great). It arrived in a glass bottle, as shown in the picture, along with a cheap little dropper (not built in), which I promptly lost. Under the cap is a small plastic piece that I assume is used to help seal, but could easily be lost, so do be mindful!I got this on a recommendation of using it in my beard to prevent heat rash because the skin on my face doesn't like getting too hot. I applied it topically undiluted for a while. It definitely stung just a little in any area that was disturbed, but was very refreshing! I then got the idea of pouring a little into a bottle of rubbing alcohol (guestimate, about a half teaspoon; if you do this, start small - you can always add more!) which I use in place of aftershave. Now I don't even bother applying it undiluted - my whole jaw/chin/neck gets it, and it feels great!After that is when I added it to my shampoo (to which I also add some menthol oil). I think it actually does help with reducing dandruff, but it also feels so refreshing, and I really enjoy the smell!.The other thing I love about this is that the large size means I won't need to purchase any more for quite a while and, if I spill some, it's not the end of the world.The only negative points are:1) If the little plastic piece inside the cap gets lost, it may leak. It came out of the cap when I first opened it, but some time between then and now, it has become fixed in the lid and won't come out, so I cannot test this possible negative point.2) My wife says it smells different than the tea tree oil to which she is accustomed. She is used to the Elizabeth Van Buren brand, which I think has a slightly creamier, almost hint of chocolate smell (but still definitely tea tree!), where I think this is a bit stronger, more woodsy, and spicier (which I like!).

were do I start with tea tree oil. My household will never be without tree tea oil I promise you that. Ever since I discovered this oil 10 years ago I have been a true believer. I use it mainly for health and beauty reasons, It helps kill acne bacteria, it helps with blemishes, it also makes your skin smooth. I use for my kids whenever they get insect bites specially mosquitos, just a dap and its like a miracle they stop hurting/itching within seconds!! Now about this particular Large 4 ounce and this particular brand. It will be the best you will ever find anywhere for your dollar! I use to buy all my stuff at puritan and bought my tea tree oil there for years, then once in a while at walgreens, and walmart. the small bottle will always be over 8 dollars. wich I was happy to pay because I love this stuff. well let me tell you for this size this is the best price you will find ANYWHERE and I am a bargain hunter and you can take my word for it. another thing this organic one is honestly the best one too, it does not smell as bad as the other ones and its thicker and goes on smoother. and I really do know that for a fact because I used another brand I thought was amazing for many years. so I am so grateful to have found this one. I mean I will never go back to anything else. I actually bought recently a bottle from walmart because I could not wait for this bottle to get to me, and omg I still have it because I could not use it! it smelled so bad and once I applied it burned, I can literally smell and feel the chemicals! so no I will not use and probably throw away. this bottle this brand this seller are the best!! Once you try it you will never go back to another brand.
