The kit was reasonably priced and everything you need. Fixture lined up perfectly with the existing holes and the bushings were a great fit in the fixture. Drill bits were of good quality, but the extractor was questionable.I had (3) bolts broken off flush, one on the passenger side and two on the drivers side.Driver’s side were both front bolts. Had to buy a pneumatic right angle drill and it did the trick. I read dozens of posts on YouTube that said to weld a nut to the stud and back it out. Not all of us has a welding machine at home. It took me (2) days total and that included taking the manifolds to my shop and milling then flat.

Worked mostly as advertised. Had 2 flush broken studs on my Ram, 1 on the bottom row of each side. Had to lift the engine up off the mounts to get the proper angle to fit the right-angle drill in.The plate fit perfectly and the bushings made the drilling dead center no problem at all. I followed the drilling instructions precisely but found the 1/8 bits not really up to the task - they became dull pretty quickly. A run to the hardware store got me some better ones that finished the job easily.The extractor is not a strong suit either. It slipped easily and rather than run the risk of breaking it I wound up drilling the bolts all the way out and used a tap (not included) to clean the threads.

If you're reading this then you have the infamous Hemi tick and some broken manifold bolts. I was nervous about drilling into the broken stud. I read the stories of people drilling into the block or messing up the threads, so this kit gave me the confidence I needed to get that bolt out. I carefully drilled and checked a few times before knocking in the extractor and removing the broken bolt. Hopefully I won't need to use this again, but at least I'll have it if I do. I did need a right angle drill to maintain the correct drilling angle on the bolt, thankfully my neighbor had one. I spent around $250 on parts including this jig, but I estimate my bill at the stealership would've been over $1k. If I can do it, so can you. Take your time, watch some YT videos, and follow the directions. NO MORE TICK!!!

Saved me time and money

While kit has nice guider to drill out snapped exhaust manifold bolt, drill bit themself are not good. I followed instruction and drilled 5-10 second with proper lubricant and they snapped, I didn’t applied any pressure. After I opened the plate and the screw sunken in the head deeper. And went and got left handed drill set and it backed the screw out about 1/4 inch above the head. I was able to grab with pliers and extracted that way. Provided extractor with the kit didn’t grab, I was lucky that left handed drill but backed screw out. Wasted 4 hours to drill and go back to the store to get different drill bits!

Although I didn't use the product as the studs came out of the head (Ram 5.7L Hemi) just fine. This is a quality product with no surprises. It will help the faint of heart to do this tricky job.

WORKS GREAT GUIDES YOUR DRILL IN THE MIDDLE OF BROKEN STUD OR BOLTS,RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT WISH THEY HAD THIS PRODUCT YEARS AGO TO DRILL OUT BROKEN FORD MANIFOLD BOLTS.

This template saved me so much time in drilling out a broken bolt. Centered the drill from the start and made the job much easier.
