OtterBox iPhone 16 Commuter Series Case - Black

This is my third Otterbox Commuter Series case in the last several years. Each time I have needed to buy one for new phones or because the little flap covering the phone's charging slot was wearing away, never because the case was broken. Otterbox is a well-known and well-regarded company for phone cases, and this is another winner in their lineup. I recently got a new phone and accidentally dropped it from about 3 feet up onto the street. Perhaps a little naively I wasn't too concerned, because Otterbox had never failed me before - sure enough, the phone was perfectly fine, and the case wasn't even dented to boot.It works, and my still-functioning phone is a testament to it. I would (and do) recommend this to anyone looking for a sleek phone case. Not compensated for this review.

Been using this brand of protection for my i phone. With each phone I purchase a new case. I’ve dropped my phones many times over the years and never had a break yet. Even on corner hits. It just bounces due to the protective rubber band around the case. Only thing I would improve is the closure to the charging cable plug. My old one wore out and broke off before I bought my new phone and case

This is nice, it seems sturdy and had interior padding for shock absorption. It is strange how there is a big cut-out where the bottom right side button is, but other than that I really like this case. My last Otterbox case was great, I used it for years and it saved my phone from a number of tumbles. I'm only replacing it because I got a new phone, and the old case doesn't fit it.

Otter makes the best phone covers, period. I went from an iPhone 7 to a 16 and the iPhone 7 case lasted 10+ years. I'll expect the same from this one. You get a hard plastic sleeve that goes over the phone then that fits into a rubber like cover. So it's almost doubly protected.

I purchased this for my son's phone, it was easy to put on his phone, it was durable and not too bulky for his pocket. Worked well with his phone, fit great. It works good and keeps his phone safe and was easy to hold and didn't slide around.
