OtterBoxiPhone 16 Pro Max Commuter Series Case - Black

Solid daily driver for my phone, quality is there but there is a lack of grip which makes it sliding in and out of pockets actually really nice. Color is not fading like it has in other products and works for wireless charging with no problems.

I’ve always steered clear of drop protective cases because of the bulkiness and lack of style. However I work outside and I needed something that would keep dirt and dust off of my phone and protect it from falls. This case is perfect. It’s not too bulky. Fits well. Easy to use. And I just dropped my phone from 12’ onto its face and it didn’t even crack the screen protector. 5/5

Magnet strength is amazing. I never have any issues getting it to stick to my wireless charger. It has been great at protecting my phone so far, but the open space where the photo button is does make me worry a bit. I fear that if it dropped in that exact spot, it would break. It hasn’t done that so far but I definitely think that could be made better.

I’ve used otterbox on all my phones and never have had an issue. And I’ve dropped them quite a bit. My biggest worry about this new design is the open edge on the lower right side, to access the camera button. This seems to be on all the cases out there though and from a functional standpoint I get it, but it seems like an edge that could easily be opened for drop damage. Time will tell o guess. Other than that it fits great.

Don’t bother.(Eggs are expensive these days - just like OtterBox cases. Humpty-Dumpty was an egg I think)I have been satisfied with the quality and durability of OtterBox products for several years. However, the Commuter line of products make for better eye candy than they do as reliable iPhone cases.I dropped my iPhone 16 last week. It landed flat and the glass shattered .I wouldn’t be complaining about the Commuter cases, but the same thing happened to me with my iPhone 11. I felt really stupid. I figured the first time was just a freak fall. Besides, I really liked the case color.Choose another product and do yourself a favor.The bitterness of poor quality lasts longer than the sweetness of low price.

My man constantly breaks phones and otterbox cases are the only ones I will buy for him. Always great quality cases with otter box, easy to put on and clean. Last iPhone, I got him a little more expensive case it was $60 but this $30 case will do the job!
