Nintendo Gameboy Advance Purple Console (GBA)

The purple GBA console came well-packed in a sustainable pack, padded with bubble wrap inside which cardboard box and another similar paper wrapper where the console lay. Just console, no batteries inserted, and no game (that's my own). Back cover was included. The screen protector's slightly bubbled, but the screen is completely unscratched. Works beautifully! Even has slot for headphones! Do recommend rechargeable batteries (like Energizer) It says 1.5V but my 1,2V work too. Looks almost new. Thank you, I'm very pleased!

Good portable console. Easy to use and keeps kids entertained on long car journeys.

a great little find- although if you have a ds lite you can run GBA games anyway. i got this to play zelda- menish cap. the console its self was fine, although didnt have the cover for the battery compartment.the first attempt at sending the item failed and the product never turned up, but to their credit xbite send me a replacement the following week.

Wouldn't buy anything of this seller again, firstly the game boy comes with no back to the game boys to keep the battery's in place, then I put brand new battery's in 4 times and each time the gameboy was blowing the battery's, therefor working for about 10 minutes before over heating. Secondly the game boy was not saving the Pokemon games, but then it would save on my other gameboy ( not bought from this person ). Then decides to EGNORE my message to him about my issues with this crap he has sold me so therefor brings me to write this review, this time I might be heard.

Great little blast from the past and considering its age has very little cosmetic damage / scratches. Only problem is a iffy power button but flicked from on to off a few times it works fine. Once on stays on for over 4 hours (i needed a rest after that). Would definately recommend

The classic GBA.It's great fun to go back and play the games from my childhood for a bit of nostalgia.The lack of backlight is an issue though, so if you want to pick one up, i'd suggest paying a little more for the SP or playing at night is a trial in itself!

Decent product, does eveything you'd expect from a console that was first made over a decade ago. only minor irritation is no backlight so you need a well lit room for any gameboy that was out before the SP. my advice is buy an SP, if you can afford to pay a little bit more, and still enjoy a classic gaming experience.
