3M Ultrathon Insect Repellent Lotion, 2-Ounce (2-Tubes)

I loved this stuff. I wasn't bit once while using it and I went to 100% humidity Bali, hotels by the river in Hong Kong in the hot summers, and 4 cities in India including the jungle to track tigers for photo shoots. I was not bitten once in any of these places and the Zika virus was running rampant the year I went to India.The only down side was it was a little oily and runny after so many uses. I'm guessing it's because all the lotion settled towards the bottom and after so long it started to separate. This of course didn't happen until I had the stuff for months. Another down side was I noticed that after so many days of using it I started to break out in a rash each time on my arms. I thought it could have been the humidity of Bali but when it happened in India that was dry, I knew it was the lotion.I just changed my habits of making sure I showered when I was turning in for the night and no longer leaving my hotel. I also made sure not to put it on until I was in the car or bus heading towards my destination for the day that way there was less time that it sat on my body.The "rash" wasn't even an itchy rash, more like tiny bumps and I think it was being caused by how thick the product was and it clogging my pores all over my body. But you know what, I'd rather a few little bumped barely noticeable all over my body rather than a mosquito bite. I'm the type of person that once bitten I scratch and cannot get relief no matter how much ice, heat, and creams I put on it or how many allergy pills I take. I scratch so bad I always scar too because the itching gets that bad.If you're anything like me this stuff could save your life! Just make sure to not forget to put it on your hands and feet. YES YOUR FEET!!! The bottoms to be exact. I rubbed this stuff everywhere but the bottoms of my feet and sure enough I was bitten on the bottoms of both of my feet which was torture trying to walk and deal with that.Also don't forget to re-apply on your hands after you wash them from using the restroom or you'll regret it. Lastly it's a a little smelly but nothing so over powering that I was bothering anyone else or overpowered by it when I ate my own food. The smell also fades after an hour or so or you get use to it. Any down to this product is well worth it to deal because the benefits are amazing.

This is the only brand we use in our home because it provides great protection from the mosquitos.

Works for about four hours

Product is thick and stays where you apply it. I applied it before bed and in the morning, had no bites. Small 4 oz. tube goes further than it first appears, probably because the product is thick and covers well.

My blood is a buffet for mosquitoes. I’ve been a buffet since I could remember… I’ve tried many products over many many years. I’ve even changed my diet & drank less alcohol to prepare for outings like camping. Nothing has worked more than this product. I recently brought a couple tubes of this cream to my last camp trip and everyone wanted to try it. A handful of people didn’t put it on because the had brought their own and didn’t want to use mine, as an act of kindness. Those individuals were the only ones that got bit up. I again was bite free. I even use it in my backyard during the summer. I no longer have mosquito anxiety or bites. I’ve been using this cream since 2020

Found this and can wear it daily throughout the summer mosquito season. No problem with a nasty smell that so many other products have. This goes on smoothly and protects from bites.

We have been using last several years it’s the best out there! It’s like you have your own force field around you!

I have not used this in the woods yet. Purchased for use in a basic field kit. It seems to work amazingly well in the backyard and does not smell as bad as you might think given how strong it is.
