Replacement cylinder
Good product works as expected I called the company and they explained to me how to replace the old cylinder with a new one (I replaced it because I lost the key) really simple and easy Value for money I would have to say it could be cheaper

Worked well
This was twice the price plus at home improvements.. came with no instructions, plain plastic wrap but that's OK..it was easy to replace.

Easy to replace
Very easy to replace. Two tools used, cross tip screwdriver (Phillips #2) and a small flat tip (to remove a small retaining clip). Total time to replace tumbler took about 3 minutes.

Lost keys are no problem with this fix
We bought a house that the owner had no keys for but a key pad. Bought this set to get a set of keys and it was super easy to change the cylinder. Works great and now we have keys!!

Fixing a smart lock that we did not get a key for
It was fairly easy to install. It was slightly different than the directions but was not difficult. Looking forward to getting it keyed to the other knob.

I needed the lock with keys, but no instructions
I lost the keys to my electric door lock and bought this cylinder to replace the old one. However, there was no instructions included. I thought I could just pop out the old and pop in the new, but you can't. I went on YouTube to see if I could find a video to show me what to do, but there wasn't one. I emailed the kwikset folks on their website but they just sent me written instructions on how to re-key. So I just gave up and bought a new lock. Very disappointed.

Good price for rekeying
Perfect fit for old model push button lock. Saved lots of money refitting for a new key rather than buying a completely new lock.

Key your own
The product is great. Eat to rekey to your key system. Only problem was I wanted bronze and you were out. I colored it with a bronze marker and it’s perfect!

Simple
Just purchased a property and the old owner kept all the keys for the existing locks… stating he’d lost the keys.Rather than changing the entire lock, I purchased the Smartkey set.Saved me tons of money and was very easy to install.Highly recommend
