Ergotron DS100 Dual-Monitor Desk Stand, Horizontal, Black

This product is well built and easy to assemble. It easily supports my two 24" Wide Screen monitors and saves valuable desk space, having the footprint of a single monitor.Screen height is about average for most standard monitor stands. At it's highest position the center of the screen is about 13" from the desktop. That's a bit low for me but I just used a standard monitor raiser and it works just fine, and gives me even more desk space.The mounting plate is designed for the larger 100mm brackets on flat panel screens but they include adapters so you can use this stand for monitors that have the smaller 75mm mount.Cable management is also a breeze, there are two cable clasps built into the unit, one for each screen and there are more than enough cable ties included, even some Velcro ones.Also included: All the tools necessary for assembly and adjustment; Thumbscrews designed to replace your original monitor screws but I opted to keep the original screws so I needed to use a screwdriver.I'm recommending this product to all my friends with dual screen setups.

The Ergotron stand accomplished exactly what I was hoping it would, it gave me back a significant portion of my desktop. It took less than fifteen minutes to assemble including mounting my monitors.

I have been using the stand for a month and I have to say that I am very satisfied. If you have the need for dual monitors but you don't have a lot of desk space to work with then this stand is well worth the price. I currently have (2) 22in monitors set up on this stand and it works perfectly. A clean install with the cable management set up that came with the stand. The two attachments to the back of the monitors can be installed to angle upwards or downwards depending on your needs. There is also some height adjustment available. Very easy to put together and a great space saver.

Very stable stand, I have two 24 inch lcd monitors on it, no shifting or sway. The height adjuster is hand tightened and has not budget since I set it at the height I wanted. Does take up about 1ft by 1ft area on my desk but can rest most items, papers, notebooks, etc, on the stand.Assembly was pretty easy, would recommend two two for putting the monitors and cross bar on the pole and stand, but possible for one person to do if you take your time.If i had another work station with dual monitor setup would buy another.

Best price for this item. In the past these have had quality issues with this Ergotron stand. I've had at least ten of these items that the screw heads popped off on the tension clamp and the displays dropped. I contacted Ergotorn and never got replacement parts and purchased repalcements at a local hardware store. Hopefully this has been resolved. The items weren't purchased through Amazon. I've alwys had good experiences with Amazon purchases.

The construction quality is very good, but the instructions were horrible. In order to assemble so that both screens line up, the mounting brackets can only be mounted one way. The installation instructions were so vague that it wasn't until the unit was entirely assembled and the screens didn't line up that I went back and read every word to find that the plus and minus signs (punched into the brackets) could only be mounted one way. Additionally the instruction sheets imply that the screens, when mounted, can adjust up and down...NO they can't.Keeping the mount because I don't require adjustments and as noted previously the quality of the item is really good.

I have three or four of these on various computers in my office. They are good quality, and built to last.However, recently I switched to Ergotech. They are made just as solidly, have a few more flexible options (I like the way the monitors hook to the bracket better on the Ergotech), and the Ergotech costs less. Check it out as well before you decide.

First of all, if you don't have 2 monitors, you're not as productive as you could be. I guarantee, once you have 2 monitors, you'll never go back to one. That said, this device works perfectly for me. I've been using it for close to 2 years and I've been perfectly content. I have two 22 inch monitors connected to this stand and this stand and these monitors are a corner stone of my workstation. Love it! The construction is very solid. Solid steel.
