Pharma Nord Bio-Vitamin D3 800IU 20mcg 80 Capsules

These capsules are small spherical so very easy to swallow. They’re also advertised as chewable so I thought I’d try popping one in my mouth for the sake of this review despite the fact I was worried what it would taste like. I can happily report that the oil tastes like high quality olive oil with no funny aftertastes and since there is only a small amount it isn’t unpleasant at all (quite nice actually in my opinion). I think that is a good sign of the quality of this product! Once you’ve popped the capsule you don’t have to swallow the shell since all of the vitamin is contained within the oil. Based on this I can highly recommend these for those who have trouble swallowing tablets too.The amount of vitamin D in these capsules is higher than what the NHS recommends you need each day but I decided to go for them because I don’t do a great job keeping on top of taking them daily so I thought having the higher dose every couple of days would be better for me.I’m not going to pretend that supplementing vitamin D has changed my life but I do spend a lot of time indoors so I was worried I wasn’t getting enough. After Public Health England said that everyone should consider taking vitamin d tablets in the winter months I decided I’d give it a try. It has also been recommended this summer since a lot of us are spending much more time indoors than usual.UPDATE————So initially I wasn’t taking those every day but over time there’s increasing evidence to suggest that the 400IU recommendation is too low and higher blood levels of vitamin d may be linked to better outcome for those infected with covid.As a result I am now taking two of these each days and may consider the higher dose version of this product for this winter at least.This is the only supplement I take since you can’t produce any vitamin d in the winter I think it’s pretty essential.

Really like these, they are easy to swallow and have helped my Vit D levels return to normal

nothing to dislike

Very easy to swallow however being a woman of colour I need to take a higher dose of D3 the thing is is at least 5 to 10000 milligrams per day but I don't even know how much there is in this box I don't know taking five how much it is it doesn't actually tell you that I'm not great with these I just wish that they were like any other bottles of D3 if it's 1000 equivalent to one tablet or 2002 tablet it should say so but it doesn't otherwise I do like the tablets and I like the way that it sells someone and easy to swallow

Great vitamin D supplements with olive oil, I was intolerance to all supplements since having stomach issues and tried lot of vid D supplements tablets capsules sprays but every product irritate my stomach. This is the only brand that gentle and easily digested with out any side effects.I really impressed and interested to see other suppliments for sane brand
