Great shoes, with very narrow width
The shoes are great, but they run very narrow and I had to order two sizes up. They are really warm and solid. I am 6'1 and I find the shoes a bit on the heavy side , but it could just be me as I like my shoes really light. Overall I feel the shoes deserve 5 star as they feel great once you get the size right.

Need to break them in
I spent weeks ordering at least ten different brands/styles of 'winter' boots and ended up returning all of them, but I have weird feet - kinda scrawny (if it's possible to have 'scrawny' feet) and perpetually cold. My toes start freezing in exactly 19.6 seconds if I'm not moving around. It's true. I timed it.Was looking for something waterproof, insulated and OK for light hiking and dog-walking, so I decided to give these a try before basically just giving up and going to Walmart. Figured if I'm gonna hate my boots anyway I may as well just buy really cheap ones so I don't hate myself, too.Read the reviews about how they run a bit small and knew I'd be wearing heavy wool socks, so I ordered 11.5M. Normally wear a 10M or 10.5M depending on the brand/style.First impression was, "These things are 11.5? I can barely squeeze my scrawny feet into the toe box". The only reason I didn't immediately send them back was that I was going to a football game in Green Bay and didn't have anything else to wear because my 20 year-old Sorels finally bit the dust last winter. They were fine for the game but I still wasn't sure whether they'd work for the walking I do - typically 3-5 miles/day - but the more I wore them the more I liked them. I think the insulation on top of the toe box is what initially made them feel tight, but after a little while it relaxes and kinda conforms to the top of your foot. For me it went from noticeably tight to pleasantly snug. For my feet, the support is good, too. They look a bit heavy & bulky but they're surprisingly light (which is great for me because my scrawny feet are attached to a pair of really bad knees).I've probably put over hundred miles on them already (less than a month) and I'm glad I didn't send them back. Won't be running any marathons in them but for 'snow-type' boots they're awesome. Traction in snow is good and I've had no problems on wet pavement. Ice, not so much (same as every other boot/shoe on the market), but I solved that problem with pair of pull-on traction cleats, which are also awesome. Plenty warm, too. No issues in single-digit (F) temps, which actually surprised me.Anyway, I won't win any fashion contests in these things but they turned out to be exactly what I was looking for - a warm, waterproof, easy-care winter boot that works well for light hiking. In fact I may even buy a second pair to have on hand, because as we all know, every time we find a pair of shoes/boots we like the manufacturers immediately stop making them, the scoundrels. It's an evil plot. Them against us. We will prevail.

Nice boot. Sized small.
These are very nice, sturdy and waterproof snow boots. They do indeed fit small, however, as others have noted. I wear a size 46/12.5 ordinarily. I ordered these boots in size 14 -- and still they are a bit snug.

Order a size up at least
A lot of reviews for this product state that the boots are very narrow, which is true and because I read the reviews I purchased a size larger. They fit very well but are just a bit narrow. If you have wide feet you might have issues. I don't, got a size larger and love them.Out of the box they were stiff and difficult to get on, but after wearing a few times they fit great and are actually very warm and comfortable. *Unfortunately I had to return these because the fabric loop for the laces on one shoe ripped off while I was trying them. I don't know if it was just a defect for that pair but it happened less than two months after I bought them. I loved the black color too.I did buy a new pair in the brown color because black wasn't available at the time and I still like that color too. I've had them for about a year and have had no problems so far.**Update December 2021 and they are going strong. No issues.

Fantastic... Just make sure to buy a 1/2 size up.
I'm glad that I read the reviews from others and bought these a half size larger than normal!I wear an 11 1/2 for all of my sneakers and shoes, so I was a bit hesitant to go larger, even though a lot of the reviews say to go 1/2-1 full size bigger than normal.I ended up buying a size 12 and they fit perfectly! There is so much padding in these that at first I thought that I should have gone a full size larger! But after wearing them for a day or two I'm glad that I only went up a half size.As for the boot itself, these are amazing!Really comfortable and I love the way they look... Almost like a sneaker, so I can wear them wherever I go in the freezing cold Buffalo winters! As far as the warmth goes, I honestly believe that these are the warmest boots that I have owned! And I have owned some very expensive name brand boots! In fact I wore these on a fairly warm(by Buffalo winter standards) day, maybe 20-25 degrees and when I got home and took them off my feet were sweating! LolI expect these to last me many, many years but I will absolutely buy these again when the time comes!

You must size up drastically! I am a size women's 11... The men's 11 fits well.
I am a women's 11. I have high arches and need a wide toe box, so I decided to see if men's boots might have the extra space in the toe region. (Other than the toe box, I am a standard medium width in the heal and mid-foot regions. I always wear medium width shoes.)The criteria I was looking for in boots:room for my very high arches, preferably with adjustable laces (no pinching of the top of my feet)wide toe box for wiggle roomwaterproofinsulated / warmnot too heavy or difficult to walk inroom for a thin orthotic for my arch supportI was apprehensive that these boots might fall short. I also bought 2 pairs (sz 10.5 and sz 11) because I wasn't sure how much I needed to size-up according to the other reviews.Sz 11 showed-up today. I'm pleasantly surprised. It fits well everywhere, and is not too heavy or clunky to wear. I estimate that I may be able to go down to a 10.5, but the extra half size just adds a wee bit more wiggle room, which is always appreciated with fluffy socks.I highly recommend these boots. I'm looking forward to trying them out in the snow soon!

Nice snow boots!
These boots are both comfortable and warm, making it effortless to walk on snow. They have adequate grip on ice, although not the best on the market. I am highly satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend these boots to others.

Excellent Boots
These are excellent boots; order half a size bigger because of the insulation that has inside
