Great price for car seat
I love this car seat! Great price for the quality. Similarly priced items are from much cheaper brands and the quality really does show. The car seat I received had a manufacture date of 2021 and I’m totally fine with that. I think it’s definitely worth the price and by the time the car seat expires my son would have most likely outgrown the chair anyways.

Old seat, issued in 2019!
I like the carseat itself but after reading the reviews regarding when the car seat was issued, I checked mine and it shows it was issued in 2019!!!! I just purchased this and have been using it since January 2023! I am very angry that they are selling car seats that are so old! I will not get enough use out of the seat before it expires!

Three across in a Honda Odyssey 2018 middle row; and Sienna 2023!
We have now had these car seats for 6 years now (transitioned from the infant Chicco KeyFit 30 seat to this one when the second kid was born, then again with the third one). I have slim/small kids, and my 8 year old who is 50" and 55lb still is comfortable in the seat. I would guess by 55" even the tallest setting will cut into his shoulders, but he will likely outgrow it by height before weight.Booster seats are not comfortable after about an hour of driving, and he never complains with this seat. His cousins of the same age ask why he sits in a car seat, and he tells them because it is more comfortable. So far 3 cousins have agreed this is more comfortable than their high back boosters. We do some long car trips, and have driven overnight for some, and the kids are able to sleep in these as well (and my kids aren't the best at napping when not at home). We often travel with enough stuff in the Honda Odyssey minivan (2018) that we put all three across in the middle row to use all the storage in the back.Taking the cover off to wash it is pretty quick and simple. We had an unfortunate incidence with one kid throwing up in the seat, washed right out.Only perhaps one negative is the latch system for me is a little tricky to release. Not sure what it is about the belt system on the latch that is hard for me, but my husband and parents struggled as well. That doesn't matter to me, though, because I just latch it in with the seatbelt (check out how to videos from the car seat lady on youtube if you are new to installing seats). I can easily install the three seats in 5 minutes (but I am now well practiced, it was probably more like 5-10min per seat when we first got them).Hope that helps someone out there! We think these are great seats.UpdateGot a new Sienna 2023 minivan (snowy winters just weren't great even w snow tires in the Odyssey), and the kids cried because they weren't three across anymore. Low and behold, you can fit three across in the back of the Sienna! Tight fit, took some pushing and shoving, but three across works!(Picture w kids is the Odyssey, picture with empty seats is the Sienna. Definitely more space in the Odyssey middle row for three across.)

Such a pain
I bought this car seat based on the positive reviews and it did not meet expectations. We've used it maybe 12 times and the chest strap does not tighten evenly. The right side will be practically strangling my child while the left hangs loose. It is also incredibly difficult to install. The latching part is easy, but then you need to pull on a strap and push down on the car seat. Said strap is practically immobile. Only one person in my family can get it to tighten. Lastly, the headrest is inadequate and there's no padding on the chest strap. It results in your child's neck kinking if they fall asleep. My child hates this seat and cries every time we put her in it. Just overall does not seem safe or comfortable. The only pro is that it's incredibly light. Easy to travel with, but that's not enough to recommend it.
