Good bit of kitchen kit.
I bought this in 2011, to use when I turned off my oil fired range for the summer. It's been my go-to for hob cooking ever since. Easy to use, and a dream to keep clean. I've got mine set into my worktop, and I often put a chopping board on top of it so I can use it as an extension of the workspace.I bought a couple of heat resistant silicone mats to protect the surface then, by chance, found that they work very well as heat diffusers - sometimes a low simmer is a bit tricky, but the pads seem to sort out that problem, which surprised me as the pan isn't in direct contact with the hob surface. The fan has got a bit noisy and grumpy on mine after 11 years constant use - sorts itself out if I turn it off at the mains then turn it on again. I saw it at a very good price, so bought a replacement for of/when it conks out completely.Would recommend.

New Cooking Experience
Cooking with this Induction Hob is a ânew to meâ cooking experience and far exceeds my expectations. Although I have only had it for a week the advantages are obvious. It is easy to use and so easy to clean and keep clean. Compared to the fan on my cooker-hood the fan on the hob is almost silent and compared to my old electric hob it must be far more economical, as it heats up the food within seconds so there is no waiting around. The controls are easy to use and give you full control of whatever you are cooking whether fast heat or just a simmer. I think one would have to be careful that they didnât drop anything on to the hob, as this could be its only weakness. As I only need two zones this hob gives me more work surface area. I am very pleased with it and only wish I had bought one years ago.

limited temperature control
Nothing actually wrong with this hob, it has two rings which is better than most portable induction hobs, and it works quite well. My problem with it is that it is difficult to set it to simmer a pan, it pulses rather than gives a constant heat when set to power 5 or below and there is a large difference between power 6 (which is a pretty fast boil) and 5 (which is barely a simmer). However I bought it as a temporary measure in our new property to tide me over until we install a new kitchen so I won't have to put up with this for long.

Rubbish product
Absolutely awful. These should never be produced. Turn temperature down it goes off. In the middle of cooking it goes off. Tried to make welsh cakes. lowest setting i could use was 5, burned them without cooking as I could Not turn down. Grrrrr definitely Not Fit For Purpose

Excellent
It was my first time using an induction hob. In my temporary kitchen. I liked the fact it has a large plate and small plate. The timer function is brilliant just set the time and it switches off after set time. No more burnt out pans for me!Also you can simmer things although as an induction hob there is limited fine control ... Switch to level 4 and it goes between boiling and not, which means potato cooks etc

can use as table top or be fitted
Bought as temporary measure for fitting new kitchen. Intend to keep as will be useful at Xmas or special occasions. Also could take in a caravan if electricity available as has a plug.Replied to a question about pans to use. I use judge sabatier pans. Also use scoville pans. Can't use fizzler. I hope this is helpful. Made a spelling error in my reply which I can't find. Hope person can see this
