Electricity and Controls for HVAC-R

In the A/C class at my school. They are trying to use this book for "Basic Electricity Class", due to its contents on electricity and price of the book.

Would have given a higher rating if not for the damage. The interior is very clean, no markings or "dog-eared" pages. However, the back cover is separated from the spine. Hoping that it's not ruined further when I try to fix it.

Good quality

Book has writer errors in it confuses the reader in trying to understand electricity. I would recommend writer reading it and fixing the errors in it, so it can be more understanding to the reader. I would not recommend this book to someone to read and learn from it unless you have an instructor to help you out.

The book has a lot to be desired. Has a lot of good information but the overall layout is terrible. For instance, it will reference a diagram that's the next page over causing you to have to flip the page. There's grammatical errors and math typos. I'm only 20% through the book so I'm sure there's more there. Glad I only rented this for class or I'd just return it.

Little explanation of fundamentals, so it is very difficult to understand how devices actually work. So for the beginners I don’t see any use of it, unfortunately.
