Create-A-Bed Premium Murphy Bed Kit, Queen Vertical

Now that the murphy bed it finished the hardware works great. I wanted to have more space in my office and the ability to put the bed up and down is a lifesaver. I do only use the bed a couple times a year but it has been going strong.The instructions with the hardware are great. As a novice builder the instructions made sense and my family and I were able to build it all in a few days. Making sure it looked nice and had some extra features like a desk took more time.

The instructions are generally easy to follow, and the hardware seems very sturdy. We just assembled this and it looks great!! It is definitely a huge task, but not impossible if you follow the instructions and take your time.We hope that the hardware will hold up over time (no one has slept on the bed yet for an overall update on sturdiness over time).

We wanted our bed made from solid wood, not plywood. Doing so voided the warranty on the set, which was not started in the directions. It says use plywood only, but even finished plywood that sanded has jagged edges. We got it to work, but their support team was not friendly at all.

Within a minute, I was speaking to another human who not only knew exactly what I had done wrong but also walked me through the solution step by step with patience and clarity.This level of customer care is almost unheard of these days! They turned what could have been a frustrating situation into a positive experience that made me love this company even more.If you’re considering this kit, don’t hesitate — it’s a fantastic product backed by THE BEST customer service I’ve ever encountered. This is a well designed and high quality product. Detailed step by step instructions guide you through this build. They even provide a cut sheet and give all measurements needed. You do need to know how to mortise with a router, so some wood working skills are needed. That would be the most difficult part of the build. Super satisfied with the kit!
