It's Raspberry without the floral

My husband loves this tea! He was looking for something with flavor that he wouldn't have to add sweetener to but most of the raspberry loose leaf teas I've tried have hibiscus or other flowers added which he is not a fan of. This one doesn't! It's a great raspberry black tea that I brew by the gallon for him and chill for iced tea and he loves it. It's a good quality tea, not a ton of dust in the bottom of the bag like some. The flavor of the raspberry comes through but it's not overly strong and he and I both love it without any sugar or other sweetener added. This one does seem to sour quickly if left out of the fridge, even if you don't add any sweetener so I recommend getting it in the fridge once it cools if you make it by the pitcher like I do for iced tea.

Excellent High Quality Tea

Amazon to the rescue. I had ordered some Davidson's bulk organic Earl Grey tea about 15 months ago and did not get around to opening it until recently, only to find the tea has a horrible medicinal taste even though it was organic. Amazon refunded my money and I ordered this tea. Excellent and smooth; Brewed 3-4 minutes. Good black or with milk and sugar. The same is true for the Boston English Breakfast Blend tea I ordered. Very high quality. I am a tea affionado and good ones like this are very hard to find. Thanks again, Amazon

New Favorite!

Great flavor - the raspberries and rose petals make this tea unique without overpowering the actual tea flavor. I love it all by itself or with sugar and lemon.

Not as bold as others

I used to buy my Lapsang from Teavana but they stopped selling it. I also used to buy some from different packers like Twinnings among others but they became harder to find in stores in my area.I ordered this not only based on price but mainly based on the good reviews on this site. I must admit I was a bit disappointed. This tea isn't bad but *to my taste* it's not as good as the others I am used to. It's not as bold or as tangy and the smokey flavor is quite different from the others. It's hard to describe the difference but if you're used to some other Lapsang tea, you might one to try a smaller quantity of this one first. The description says it was smoked using oak while most lapsang use pinewood, maybe that's what causes the difference. Now I mix it half and half with regular black tea, it's not as strong or as bold as I would like but at least I get back some of the tarriness this tea is lacking.

Beats more expensive brands

I used to use Lipton loose tea for my sweet tea, then I switched to another brand of high quality tea, an Indian monsoon variety. This resulted in better tea than I have ever had, so I decided to try this brand as it was slightly cheaper. I think this tea is the bomb now, I have made a whole bag's worth of tea this summer. I found a recommendation to use 30 grams of tea for a gallon of iced tea and that's what I did with this. I know tea snobs will think this is sacrilege but I make mine in a coffee brewer, I just put it in the basket and brew a carafe, then water it down and add sugar. Works for me :)

Oak smoked Lapsang

Earlier in the year I bought a tin of Harney and Son's Lapsang Souchong, and fell in love with it. I set out looking for a tea with a strong smokey flavor that came in a big enough size to drink as my morning cup of tea. Based on previous reviews, I purchased this tea. When I got the tea I made a cup (2 teaspoons in boiling water in my inginuitea for about 5 minutes), but something was off. Don't get me wrong, this tea makes a good cup. It's plenty smokey, the tea leaves seem to be decent quality especially for the price, and it's a very smooth cup of tea, but this Lapsang was not smoked over pine like the variety traditionally calls for. To my taste it seems to be oak smoked.I will continue to drink this tea until it is gone, but it is not at all what I was expecting after searching for a a tea to replace my Harney and Son's Lapsang Souchong every morning

Best vanilla tea I've tried!

My husband bought me my first pouch of this tea as a gift. He knows how much I love vanilla and similarly flavored teas. He's always buying something new for me to try.Over the course of the last three years he's bought me every variation of vanilla tea that he could find. Teas ranging from local tea shops to English and Australian teas. I have to say that this one is my favorite!Tea has a good vanilla flavor, while not being overly done. Some of the ones I've tried have tasted like they've just added cheap vanilla syrup to the leaves before drying. It is flavorful with a quick brew (1-2 minutes) or a longer brew (5+), but 3-4 minutes is a little bitter to me. I use an Adagio (http://www.amazon.com/Adagio-Teas-16-Ounce-Ingenuitea-Teapot/dp/B000FPN8TK) tea brewer, and I am able to use the same leaves for two brews without compromising the flavor (quick initial brew, longer brew on the second). All in all a wonderful tea. You can't go wrong with this one!
