Works best in a substrate mix
A bit dry but works great mixed in with top soil/moss. The substrate hasn't started to dry as quickly. Gives a bit more of a naturalistic look and should help her claws get worn down.

LEOPARD GECKO APPROVED
It’s a great MIX IN for leopard geckos! It’s starting to get very hot and i have a huge tank for my Leo (about 75 gallons) & in my experience I would have a hard time keeping his humid side humid during the hot temps. I’ve used eco earth on its own as substrate which is just okay on its own at breaking down waste and providing a nice digging surface for my Leo. However it’s definitely prone to dust and holds moisture very poorly. This flukers substrate exceeded my expectations! As a mix in, it has managed the dust levels to almost nonexistent and holds moisture very very well. At first I was nervous since these are wood chips but they’re actually pretty soft wood and would aid wonderfully in getting stuck shed off toes! As I mentioned before, this is a great MIX IN with loose substrate! Do not use this on its own! It’s just straight wood chips!!

Very pleased
I like adding a little cypress to my preferred substrate. This works very well and lasts a while, depending on how big your enclosure is.

Very dissatisfied
This product desciption is very misleading. It says "10lbs", we ordered two (2) but we received two (2) 5ct bags. If I would have known that, I would have purchased Forest Floor like I typically do. I am very dissatisfied!!

Perfect turtle bedding.
This bedding is ideal for my two box turtles. No complaints they love digging into it and I’ll use it again.
