Lion Brand YarnBonBons Yarn Pack Brights

As the words imply "bon bons" these are small skeins of yarn.. they were perfect for what I used them for...I kept some intact though I replaced the band with ribbon and some I rolled into different size balls and attached them to a wreath along with knitting needles and crochet hooks for my mothers funeral services...it turns out just perfect

Forgoing the microscopic size of these skeins, the yarn quality is superb. I've only ever used Coboo by LB and I hated it, so I was a bit hesitant to try these out. They work up amazingly and they feel so soft! I got Nature, which is Sport (2) weight. I wish these had an option to get them in a bigger skein as there's one color specifically I'd like to use as a border. There could be, but I'm not experienced with Lion Brand enough to really know for sure!Just keep in mind these are TINY. Barely bigger than a quarter. I knew how small they were when reading reviews/description, but it doesn't really sink in until it's in your hands, honestly. I'm not going to dock any stars for that, though, as it's just a drawback of online shopping in general.These have made me want to try more Lion Brand yarns as they're so nice to work with. No splitting, no tangling (unlike Coboo!, soft and shiny. Very happy with my purchase.

I have a book for little knitted critters that I bought this yarn for. It Normally I would just use left over yarn for these projects but I don't have quite the colors I want for some so I bought these. The product information says that each skein measures 2.5 by 1 by 5.25-Inch. I can't figure out how they came up with this measurement as each skein is actually less than 4 inches long and a little over an inch in diameter. I thought they would be about 3x bigger. The yarn is nice, especially the cotton (in another bag) and fun to work with. However, in the future, I'll just get together with my other knitting friends and trade off our project leftovers for my smaller projects. It's cheaper and ore resourceful.

Great colors, very vibrant. Just be aware that when it says bonbons, that means the skeins are VERY tiny. I didn't read the product description so I was very surprised by how small they are.

Ordered for my granddaughter & didn't pay attention to the size lol they are very small but she loves them says they are perfect for making little pom poms!!

BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY! Not enough yarn to do anything with..

This collection of yarn has saved my bacon so many times over the years! They've been perfect for the details of plushies, bookmarks, fidget toys, etc. Such a good range of colors and just enough for the kinds of quick, colorful projects I enjoy.

I ordered this for a small project, and was disappointed. The mini-skeins were much smaller (yardage) than I expected, even though I only needed a little of each color, it was just a few yards "short". The yarn came off the skein all mashed and smooshed, as if it were wound so tight it was deformed. I re-wound it on my new wool-winder to let it breath and relax, but it didn't seem to help. The weight of the yarns varied from each color-ball. some were extra fine, almost lace weight, while others were heftier almost DK weight. This made my project lopsided. The yardage varied GROSSLY from ball to ball, varying by as much as 5-8 yards, which is a lot for something this small (38 yd per ball).The yarn worked up ok, it was fairly splitty, which made stitching slow.Colors are nice and bright, which is the ONLY plus for this product.For the price, it is not a value at all. I would never use these again.
