Great steel cut oats in a fancy steel cannister at a good price.
Can't find real steel cut oats at costco any more and grocery store (steel cut) oats are a sad, dusty joke. Great texture, great taste, with excellent chewy mouth feel at a reasonable price. I will be a steady customer as long as all remains like this. If you like real steel cut oats, this is the right product and supplier.

Fast delivery, quality product!
This is a wonderful cold-weather breakfast, but I can’t find it locally in rural East Texas. I appreciate being able to order it online and have it reliably delivered

I believe we can eat something NATURAL
This oats still seem came from Nature… thank God we still we can find real food. In moderation with our sugar we can eat it with not trouble for your blood sugar !

Always Excellent
While some may not think steel-cut oats are worth the trouble, I do. Even the best "quick" steel-cut packets add too much sugar for my taste, and I have to add more water and oats to dilute the sugar -- and add more dried fruit and nuts to round out the nutrition. It's easier to cook up a batch (which you can partially cook the night before) and balance out the fruits, nuts and sugar. Sprinkle in a little flax and/or chia seed if you wish. Also great to substitute yogurt for milk to round out a very tasty, healthy and filling meal!

Steel Cut Oatmeal is the BEST!
After a lifetime of having processed quick oats or instant oatmeal, I tried steel-cut oatmeal a few years ago. The texture is somewhat like tapioca, which may be one reason I like it so much. I usually make enough for 4-8 servings, then store the rest in the fridge. It reheats great in the microwave. I also usually add chia and hemp seeds, as well as cacao powder. YUM!

Love this oatmeal!
Although it takes awhile to cook this product I love the nutty texture of it, so it is worth it. Instant or quick cook oatmeal just isn't the same. It is getting harder to find because most people want instant gratification and don't want to wait for it to cook, but there is definitely a difference and it is worth the cooking time. I usually make a full batch and then divide it up over four servings. The first day is the long cook day, but after that I just microwave the other potions to heat it up and it is just as good as the first day. I love this product and hope they continue to make and sell this oatmeal.

Cooking time is 20 to 30 minutes nice texture not mushy
I like that it's difficult to over cook this oatmeal. It has a nutty flavor and texture. The 20 minute cooking time is what I use to cook whatever savory items, spices or sweet fruit I've added to the oatmeal. It's expensive, but worth it if you can only find instant mushy oatmeal available.
