This book is an amazing resource for those trying to get into the financial side of production.Some people may feel intimidated when it comes to these matters in film /TV, but this book speaks in terms that one can understand.It introduces a person to all of the financial aspects of production from preproduction, production, and to post production.It also is a great road map for professionals in the field to refer to when they may have questions about the money processes of production.I will definitely keep this book in my professional library for years to come.Thank you for producing this book it is a great help!

Filmmakers should want to get paid but, too often, they ignore the nuts and bolts of how that happens.Ms. Bunsen's book does a great job of demystifying the entire production accounting process.For filmmakers, producers, and accountants who may not have worked in the film industry, it gives an accessible understanding of what needs to get done to get you and your people paid!It’s a unique book and simply fantastic. I learned a tremendous amount from it.

I just finished reading this book. I loved it so to be point that I want to see a second part to it. I have learned so much by reading this book. At the some point when I was reading, I felt like Penelope herself was talking to me. I would hear voice. I strongly recommend this book to all the people who want to join the production accounting field and is scared to ask questions in the groups.

This book is a great introduction to the production accounting field with insight into the entertainment industry as a whole. I highly recommend for anyone looking to get a better understanding of the environment and workflow. The tone is very casual with lots of humor, so it's an easy read!

For a clerk this book is a wealth of information.

I love this book. I purchased it a while back just to learn a little about production accounting. Now I find myself using this book constantly for reference! It was worth every penny. I will purchase more copies for gifts to give my students for a class that I teach.

This book provides great insight and in depth detail on production accounting and provides a good base for those interested in accounting. Many film production textbooks don't thoroughly explain the content listed in this one. This book is not only for those pursuing film production accounting, but also for other production personnel (especially dept. managers or coordinators, producers) to have a better understanding of accounting needs and processes. I'd highly recommend this book!

I am an assistant production accountant and a production manager and, although the target of the book is someone starting out in production accounting, I found the book to be a great description of all the jobs (and the responsibilities of each) in a production accounting department. Not only informative for wannabe accountants, but a great resource for production managers, line producers and the coordinators of art departments, production offices and construction departments.
