Oilcloth International Oilcloth Oranges, White Yard

Personally, I'm not familiar with "oilcloth", I actually just learned about it through google-ing before making this purchase.What I got was 3 yards of this fabric on a giant cardboard roll in a very tall and very skinny box.Opening the package smelled like sharpies and spray paint fumes, that kind of acidic alcoholic pineapple smell that doesn't quite make me wanna huff stuff behind a middle school, but definitely convinces me that I could "see the appeal"... you know what I mean, right?!Anyways, smell wore-off like immediately, and it may have just been gas fumes in the box from the shipping company, who knows.Fabric is -- as other reviewers point out -- basically vinyl on a cotton mesh weft backing, but the design is pristine and exactly as pictured, if not slightly brighter from the shiny-ness of the vinyl.As I said, the fabric (3 yards) came rolled on a giant cardboard tube, and at first I thought it was ridiculous, and I felt immediately guilty for my genuinely nice neighbour who brought it in from the building entrance to my apartment door; but honestly, with the vinyl, having it on a roll kept the fabric absolutely perfect -- no creases.The packaging definitely could have been better, it felt a little slapdash. A box seemed pointless, like why not just double or triple layer plastic wrap and then do a double or triple thick paper/cardboard wrap for shipping. I dunno. Certainly not the end of the world, but just like an FYI, you're probably gonna get a weird giant box.I dunno what my neighbours think, but they probably don't assume the truth that I'm just a lonely craft-spirational weirdo ordering books and fabrics and Taylor Swift records off the internet instead of putting money in a 401(k).Anyways, this fabric is awesome, the roll was a greatly appreciated touch, and I dunno what I'm gonna do with it, but this was a perfectly simple and convenient process -- what more could you want!?

Nice thickness, the oil cloth smell dissipated very quickly. I bought this as a floor cover to go under three parrot cages. Parrots are incredibly messy!! It's thick enough to withstand the weight of three large cages and thin enough that my Roomba can easily clean the feathers and litter without getting hung up. Good value! Biggest bang for the buck! The colors are very bright. I am a very satisfied customer.

The oil cloth I order from this shop are reasonably - priced and cute patterns. Thick and protective.

I wanted something for the floor under my work table in my art studio. Actual oil cloth has body and weight and would have been perfect. What I received was plastic coated mesh. It will work for now but it isn't oil cloth. Color was as pictured and it was shipped carefully.

Oilcloth is getting hard to come by and these guys offer tons of patterns at a great price. Nice quality and good shipping practices too. What's not to like!?
