Amazon Brand – Wag Dry Dog Food, Salmon and Brown Rice, 5 lb Bag

Q: What countries do you source from? Is it safe?

We have used this food since it was released on the market. We moved from Merrick brand. Our dogs have not once gotten sick, and have thrived on Wag Brand. They absolutely love it. There top 3 in our rotation is Lamb, Beef and Salmon. Again, those posters that want to take their aggression out on Amazon will do what they can to post disparaging answers to questions, but Real Owners, Real Users, will give you the most honest answers. Such as, no matter where you live in the US people can in some form or fashion get something from imported goods. Companies like WAG are working hard to source 100% of all there items from American Based sources, but if those sources are not 100% honest then they have no control. Just know, like any brand working to create a premium product, but at an affordable price and has the gumption to list everything out on all there packaging and in everything they list here, well I would rather trust them then some of the other brands that hide behind all the big words on what should be simple ingredients.

Q: Would you still buy this dog food, even though its not stated if any of the product comes from China?

My sensitive Husky could only eat Halo brand dog food.....(USA made, and US sourced. No GMOs,, humane meat sources, never a recall. (We tried every organic food on the market, and also Blue Buffalo- Halo was the only brand that did not create GI symptoms..)..

Great question! Dogs with chicken allergies (the most common food allergy in dogs) should not have any foods containing chicken or egg products. Chicken fats are a by-product that your packaging specifically states is NOT included.

Q: What is the ash content of this product?

I'm not sure if ash content. My dog's poo turned brown&white so I'll assume there's a lot of calcium in this product. I won't buy it again.
