This is a great primer for both those who are just starting to dabble in crit. theory, as well as those who have been at it a long time. Felluga does a great job of breaking down complex ideas into bite-size pieces, and then presenting those pieces in a way that not only makes sense, but also presents them in their theoretical (e.g., Freudian, Lacanian, Marxian) proper context.

If you are interested in critical theory, this is the book for you. It covers the most important concepts in full and with clarity. It also caused me to absolutely hate critical theory (theories). They are nothing but the fantasies of academics, who have never lived a real life in the real world.

Book promised more than it delivered. Many entries lacked sufficient context to fully understand their significance.

This book provides quick access to theoretical terms that you might need to look up in a hurry, just as a quick refresher, or for a basic understanding. It it also good if you look for sound bites to put your point across or explain the terminology fast and briefly. The glossary is comprehensive enough to get you past theoretical hurdles.

Excellent book. This is something every grad. student in the humanities should own. If you've ever been in class and theory topics come up that you are clueless about, this is the book for you. It's organized like a dictionary so the "definitions" are short and to the point.

This book does a fine job explaining and defining critical theories in an easy to process way.

Yeah, this book is great for when your in a class where they want to push their ideology onto you, but have fun trying to use this info in real life. It doesnt even tell a good story. 0/10 pure propaganda.
