Barbie Sapphire Sophisticate Doll by Mattel

This was one of three barbie dolls I purchased for one of 3 different children. This Barbie fit the bill nicely for 3 reasons; one of the kids' favorite color is blue, I wanted a Barbie with dark hair and darker skin tone so children can appreciate that all skin colors are acceptable, and lastly, this Barbie is very appropriately dressed which would be an important criteria to the family I'm gifting...they're a traditional family. I received this Barbie very quickly despite the holidays and she looks absolutely gorgeous! The picture online does not do justice to how gorgeous and sparking royal blue her dress is (part of her dress is also a sparkling teal). The box that Barbie came in is also attractive to youngsters, a nice hot pink color. This Barbie went beyond my expectations so much so I purchased another one for another child.

I can't believe the low price on this beautiful Barbie. Her dress is beautiful blue and green. She has so much hair, I prefer hair back so I used a small clip to hold back. I love the braid on top of head. Skin color is darker which is a nice change. Even if she cost more, I would still be pleased with purchase. If you love Barbie, you'd be crazy not to jump on this bargain !

My granddaughter loves this doll. Her birthday is in September and that was one of the reasons I bought it for her. Another reason is she has alot of barbies and so she loves to keep adding to her collection.
