Aurora Products Organic French Lentils, 24 OZ

I really like (green/brown) lentils. Whenever I eat them, I get such a feeling of well being like my body is so deeply satisfied. So, when I discovered that there are so many other types out there I knew my mission was laid out for me. These petite legumes take slightly less time to prepare than their larger cousins. I find that they cook up firmer with an al dente-esque texture that is pleasing. Taste wise, I find them quite lovely. There is a slight sauteed mushroom (?) flavor to them that I definitely enjoyed. Though pricey, getting them on subscription helps with this and I like them so much that I have signed up.

These small black lentils are hard to find locally. This product is a good value and the lentils cooked up as expected. Will be buying again. Highly recommend.

Haven’t eaten them, maybe never will. But they look pretty.

Very good quality, clean (no dirt or stray objects in the package), consistent, and fresh-tasting. These have a delicate flavor. To get them soft, I bring them to a boil around mid-day, then put them back on the heat when making dinner. This gets them soft but not mushy. Will purchase again.

In France I use to eat green lentils and they are the same as I knew.They have a good flavor. I recommand.
