I am a licorice lover and have had many different brands and styles of both red and black and have liked several of them. My wife got me these coins as one of my stocking stuffers this last Christmas. These really blew me away with its flavor, freshness, texture and actually the shape too. Absolutely the best I have ever had! The problem I have though is that I can’t stop eating them! Honestly, I have ordered a bag pretty much weekly since I saw that amazon carries them. I thought I could save some money by ordering a three pack recently. Won’t do that again as I ate all three bags one after the other in one sitting! They are on the firm side unless you let them sit in your mouth for awhile before you start chewing. I happen to like that fact but might not be for everyone if you like super soft licorice.

Just as I remembered from 40 years ago in Germany. I grew up an hour from the Dutch border, so salt licorice was common. This one is very mild. The only thing is, they smell a little weird, perhaps from the beeswax they use to keep them from sticking together.

EXCELLENT licorice!! This is exactly what I was imagining! Sweet and salty. The texture is perfect nice hard licorice. Will definitely recommend

Why do you have to put salt with black licorice. YUCK!!The licorice flavor is good but the salt makes it horrible. YUCK!!

If you like salted licorice these are great. Not for everyone. I grew up eating salted licorice so these are something I like.

These are very good . The freshness and taste are good . These are hard chewables with a hint of salt . Great price will buy again
