Excellent mix and VERY versatile
Wonderful mix of beans n stuff f a homemade soup experience. I make soups from scratch but have until now stuck w/ one bean per soup (ie lentil, black bean). THIS IS a GAME CHANGER. i've used different broths w/ it to make pesto base, as well as tomato and chicken (for my meat eating partner). i have put this on my weekly shopping list to experiment w/ various soups. THANK YOU.

Just add stewed tomatoes
Happy to have found this online. It makes the most wonderful, healthy soup that everyone in our house (and the neighbors) love. I just add a beef bouillon cube and some stewed tomatoes and voila!

Utterly Delicious
Although I had never used 16 bean soup, I had a ham and bone left from holiday so I thought why not. I soaked beans overnight and along with some aromatics; thyme, oregano, basil, bay leaves (2), garlic, and chopped onions I put in Crockpot on low for 6 hours. The last 1/2 hour I added can chopped tomatoes carrots celery and fresh parsley and some fresh kale. I also added little red pepper flakes, and honestly this is a delicious, filling pot of soup. I served with Texas toast. I am happy I purchased these beans and will do so again. I like the different mixture of beans/ lentils. And this is perfect meal on cold afternoon. Thanks Amazon
